Ever wondered what engine oil and fuel are used in the top-performing #MotoGP race bikes that have won world championships?

The Shell ADVANCE logo we see on the Ducati LENOVO factory team's race bikes isn't just a sponsorship deal. The actual race bikes use Shell ADVANCE engine oil and Shell V-Power fuel. Shell ADVANCE and Ducati Corse have had a long-standing Technical Partnership since 1999, over 25 years, even before Ducati joined MotoGP.

This #ThaiGP, I was honored to be a guest of Shell ADVANCE and cheer with them at Chang International Circuit. In addition to learning about engine oil, important figures and racers from Ducati Corse came to greet, chat, and answer questions. Even Marc Márquez #MM93, who was highly anticipated at this event and had a very busy schedule, made a stop at the Shell ADVANCE VIP Lounge.

One quote that really impressed me came from Davide Tardozzi, a senior figure at Ducati Corse. He said, 'Shell ADVANCE and Ducati Corse aren't just partners, they're family. The engine is crucial for a race bike, and engine oil and fuel are indispensable. SHELL plays a part in that success!' This sentence gave me goosebumps.

Another big announcement at the event was the launch of Shell ADVANCE engine oil with new PurePlus Technology, upgraded to the new API SP standard, which will be available in 2025. It will have formulas to support various types of motorcycles, including SCOOTERS, 4T geared bikes, and BIGBIKES. Shell ADVANCE engine oil fans will definitely get to try it this year.
