The Streetfighter 1098s are one of the most collectible models.

ถ้าพูดถึงมอเตอร์ไซค์เนกเก็ตสายพันธุ์แรงจาก DUCATI รุ่นตึงๆในตำนาน อย่าง Streetfighter 1098s คือหนึ่งในรุ่นที่น่าเก็บสะสมที่สุดคันหนึ่ง

เพราะนี่คือรถที่นำ DNA จากรถแข่งอย่าง 1098 Superbike มาใส่ไว้เต็มคัน
ทั้งเครื่องยนต์บล็อก Testastretta Evoluzione ที่มี องศาโอเวอร์แลปถึง 37 องศา ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นสเปกที่ “ดิบ” และ “จัด” แบบรถแข่งตัวจริง
ต่างจากดูคาติรุ่นใหม่ ๆ ที่หันไปใช้เครื่อง Testastretta 11° ที่ขี่ง่าย ขับสบาย และเหมาะกับใช้งานบนถนนมากกว่า

มันคือ รถสนาม มาทำ Naked Bike ออกมาจากโรงงาน
นี่แหละ คือ “สตรีทไฟเตอร์” ที่แท้จริง!

อีกหนึ่งความคลาสสิกที่ตราตรึงของยุคนั้นคือ คลัชแห้ง ที่ให้เสียง “คลัชแห้ง” เป็นเอกลักษณ์
ขี่ผ่านไปทางไหน มีแต่คนหันมามอง
เฟรมถักสีแดงก็เป็นอีกหนึ่งของแรร์ เพราะส่วนใหญ่ Streetfighter 1098s ที่เจอในไทยมักเป็นเฟรมสีทอง
แต่ คันนี้ที่มี ถังแดง+เฟรมแดง ถือว่าหาได้ยากมาก ๆ
แถมยังเป็นปีสุดท้ายก่อนจะเปลี่ยนเป็น 848 ทำให้มันกลายเป็นคันพิเศษสำหรับแฟนพันธุ์แท้

และคันนี้… ผมเพิ่งได้มา!
เลขไมล์ 34,000 กม. บางคนอาจมองว่าเยอะ
แต่สำหรับรถที่อยู่มา 12 ปี เทียบกับสภาพและเลขไมล์ ถือว่าไม่เยอะเลย ถ้าเป็นสมัยก่อนผมคงกลัว แต่ตอนนี้เข้าถึงข้อมูลService ที่ถูกต้อง และผมมีเครื่องมือพิเศษ ที่พร้อมจะทำให้รถขี่ได้ แล้วขี่ดีอย่าง สมบูรณ์แบบขึ้นไปอีก ตามมาตรฐานโรงงาน

ที่สำคัญคือ Ducati ถ้าดูแลดี เซอร์วิสถูกต้อง มันทนทานกว่าที่คิดเยอะครับ
ตอนนี้ผมสามารถเข้าถึงข้อมูลประวัติรถดูคาติในไทยได้เห็น เลขไมล์แตะหลักแสนกิโลก็ยังวิ่งได้ดี หากมีการดูแลที่ถูกต้อง

และคันนี้ ผมตั้งใจว่าจะทำ คอนเทนต์เซอร์วิสแบบจัดเต็ม ให้ทุกคนได้เห็นกันชัด ๆ

"When discussing high-performance naked motorcycles from DUCATI, the legendary and uncompromising Streetfighter 1098s stands out as one of the most collectible models.

This is a motorcycle that fully embodies the DNA of the 1098 Superbike racing machine.
Its Testastretta Evoluzione engine, with a significant 37-degree valve overlap, is considered a "raw" and "intense" specification, truly reflective of a genuine race bike.

This contrasts with newer Ducati models that have adopted the Testastretta 11° engine, which offers easier and more comfortable riding, better suited for road use.
It is essentially a factory-built Naked Bike derived from a race machine.

This is the true essence of a "Streetfighter"!

Another enduring classic feature of that era is the dry clutch, which produces its characteristic "dry clutch rattle."
Riding past, it invariably turns heads.
The red trellis frame is also a rare find, as most Streetfighter 1098s encountered in Thailand typically have a gold frame.
However, this particular model with a red tank and red frame is exceptionally scarce.
Furthermore, being the final year before the transition to the 848, it holds special significance for dedicated enthusiasts.

And this one… I just acquired it!
With 34,000 km on the odometer, some might consider it high.
However, for a 12-year-old motorcycle, considering its condition and mileage, it's not excessive at all. In the past, I might have been apprehensive, but now I have access to accurate service information and specialized tools that will enable me to make the bike run, and run well, perfectly according to factory standards.

Importantly, Ducatis, when well-maintained and serviced correctly, are far more durable than many believe.
I now have access to the service history of Ducati motorcycles in Thailand and have seen models with over 100,000 kilometers still running strong with proper care.
And with this bike, I intend to create comprehensive service content, allowing everyone to see the process clearly.
This will cover everything from checking the external and internal condition to the correct maintenance procedures for this Ducati model.
